Structure of the Moodle Educator Qualification program
The MEQ program provides educators with a place to demonstrate digital competencies using the Moodle platform.
The full MEQ program consists of 22 competencies, based on the European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators (DigCompEdu).
The MEQ is only offered through Moodle Certified Service Providers, like Everon, who have been trained and certified by Moodle HQ to facilitate the qualification program.

Each course follows a similar format with assessment consisting of one quiz per competence, one scenario-based quiz and one written assignment. To successfully complete any of the MEQ courses, candidates need to pass each quiz with a minimum score of 80% and reach level B2 (Expert) in the written assignment.
Duration: You have 6 months to complete all 6 self-directed courses. Please set aside 8 hours of individual study per course.
Designed for: Teachers, Learning Designers and Learning Technologists with demonstrable experience of using Moodle.
Pre-requisite: Candidates must complete the Moodle HQ MEQ pre-placement quiz and receive feedback that suggests that they are suitable.
Individuals: We run programs 3 times a year, starting in March, June and October. The cost is ¥7500 CNY for the 6 courses with formal certification by Moodle HQ on completion, with no hidden extra costs.
Institutions: We can also cater for teams of 6 candidates from the same institution at a discounted rate and can start the program when it best suits your needs. The discounted rate is ¥6750 CNY for each participant, with the 6 participants each taking the 6 courses with formal certification by Moodle HQ on completion, with no hidden extra costs.
